Following the Path of the Sun
Gyunel grew up knowing her name translates to “sunshine for the world”. Her father, a talented artist from Azerbaijan, and her mother, a concert pianist, were both bohemian spirits on their own creative journeys. As a child, she was gifted a jewel she’d come to treasure as a personal heirloom – a flat gold circle pendant in the shape of the midday sun, acquired during her father’s debut painting exhibition in Tunisia. This small but powerful gift ignited a passion in Gyunel to approach life with the energy and intensity of sunlight. Now, wherever she goes, she strives to live up to her name.
These talismans encapsulate so many things that are important to Gyunel: timeless craftsmanship, precious materials, contemporary techniques, and meaningful symbolism. With each AmritaMe Gold creation, Gyunel hears the personal stories of her clients and makes them tangible to unlock their immortality.
AmritaMe Gold evolved from Gyunel’s desire to harness sunlight through pure 24k yellow gold. She envisioned an extraordinary gold item with intrinsic value, capable of being personalised to become an eternal heirloom for both the wearer and their family. Thus, the AmritaMe Gold Coin was born
