It was during her modelling days in Paris and New York that Gyunel was first introduced to the world of luxury jewellery. From an early age, her passion for diamonds, coloured gemstones and unique fine jewellery creations began to surpass her love of fashion, becoming an obsession that would bloom into a career.

After making London her home, Gyunel ran a style advisory, events and concierge agency. Every time she sold a special piece of jewellery or secured a fine objet d’art for a private client, the dream of moving permanently into the jewellery industry came into sharper focus.

Finally, she followed the light, changed careers and trained to become a qualified gemmologist with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Over the course of two decades, Gyunel was fuelled by senior roles at Moussaieff Jewels, Christie’s and Van Cleef & Arpels and by private clients, who sought her out when adding to their high jewellery collections. She also worked as a senior gemmologist and grader for a gemmological laboratory, which provided unparalleled access to trusted manufacturers and responsible supply chains for coloured gemstones, diamonds and precious metals.
